Enstoolment is an African and African diaspora tradition bestowing the title of Queen Mother upon esteemed women as a recognition of past, present and future service to the community.

In honor of Vivian Washington Filer, she will be given a royal stool and designated with the honorary title of Queen Mother Mangye Naa Amiami Osuowaa Okropong (Mother Who Loves and Protects All of Her Children). There will be a ceremony, banquet, music and entertainment.
