Performance: Music, Art, Poetry & Culture

Music, art and poetry were central to the 1960s movements. Join us for an evening celebrating the poetry and music from the 1968 Poor People’s Campaign, featuring local artists.

City of Hope: Resurrection City and the 1968 Poor People’s Campaign is an exhibit at A. Quinn Jones Museum & Cultural Center organized by the Smithsonian Institution Travelling Exhibitions Service, the National Museum of African American History and Culture and The City of Gainesville.
