Tom Petty Park Ribbon-Cutting

You're invited to join City of Gainesville officials and our neighbors at a ribbon-cutting for the improved Tom Petty Park. These improvements were funded by the voter-approved Wild Spaces and Public Spaces surtax.

Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Tom Petty Park (501 NE 16th Ave.)

Improvements made to Tom Petty Park include:

• The addition of new tennis court lighting
• The addition of a second gate to enter the tennis courts to help improve access and minimize disruptions to play
• The addition of a new multiuse path
• The installation of new pickleball courts
• The addition of restrooms and concessions

Following the ribbon-cutting, attendees are encouraged to stay and enjoy the park and the new amenities.
