Program Updates and Changes (eff. July 15)

Effective July 15, 2023

  1. A mealtime parking permit is available to members of UF fraternities and sororities who have a meal plan. The permit is only valid Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. for the zone where the house is located. You may apply for the permit on the following pages—follow the instructions for UF Greek Houses, but be sure to select the meal permit. Live-in members must purchase the regular zone permit.

  2. For renters (non-property owners), the following changes are being made:
    1. For all applicants, a fully executed lease or sublease (when permitted) is required. If the lease does not have the full street address and apartment number (if any), you will need to provide the move-in email giving the full street address and apartment number (if any) or provide a signed statement giving this information from your landlord.
    2. A second proof of residency is required in the applicant’s name, with the same address as the lease, and dated within the past 60 days. The following are acceptable:
      1. A renter’s insurance policy in the applicant’s name for the address on the lease and for the same term as the lease.
      2. A GRU or OEI electric bill
      3. A phone or internet bill
      4. A bank or credit card statement
      5. Official mail from UF or SFC—sent to your lease’s address
      6. An updated driver license with your lease’s address

Any person who submits an altered or otherwise false document to obtain a parking permit will have their application denied and will have their privilege revoked to reapply for a permit.
