Housing Rehabilitation

The Housing Rehabilitation Program provides loans to low and very-low income households for home repairs. Rehab program money can be used to address:
  • health and safety issues;
  • electrical and plumbing problems; 
  • installation of new windows, roof and HVAC systems;
  • removal of lead paint; and
  • retrofitting for those with special needs.
The city oversees all work performed and pays the contractors directly upon satisfactory completion.
