The qualifying period for candidates to qualify for office in the 2022 City of Gainesville elections is scheduled from noon on Monday, June 13 to noon on Friday, June 17. Individuals interested in running for office should contact the Gainesville City Clerk’s Office at 352-334-5015 or clerks@gainesvillefl.gov for an elections packet and to schedule an appointment to review the qualifying paperwork before the deadline June 17. Appointments are not required but strongly encouraged. More information can be found on the City of Gainesville website.
