The special meeting of the Gainesville City Commission originally scheduled at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 for a first reading of the exclusionary zoning ordinance has been postponed. The advertised public notice, that was given as required by law, included the correct date of the meeting but inadvertently referenced the wrong day of the week. In an effort to avoid any unnecessary confusion, the meeting will be rescheduled at a future date with public notice given in advance.
