Effective Oct. 1, 2026, the City of Gainesville is changing the way it bills for Solid Waste Services and Stormwater Management Utility.
Situated in the upper Hogtown Creek basin, 29th Road Park features nature trails traversing an upland mixed forest, a slope forest, and a bottomland forest. These woods grace the shady banks of Gainesville’s largest stream; Hogtown Creek. Breathtaking views of fern-covered slopes beneath towering trees offer visitors a refreshing retreat from the busy pace of city life. Dogs on leashes are welcome. No parking is available; pedestrian access only.
