Effective Oct. 1, 2026, the City of Gainesville is changing the way it bills for Solid Waste Services and Stormwater Management Utility.
The original John Andrews sculpture, titled "Edward the Eagle," and military service flags welcome you at the Reserve Park 8th Avenue entry which serves as a memorial to Reserve Soldiers. The park's 11th Street additional entry features a fenced community garden and an edible grove of fruit trees.
This park boasts something for everyone. Modern play equipment, a ninja-styled obstacle course, and travelling rings are available for outdoor activity. Picnic tables and grills provide a convenient gathering place under a pavilion. Encounter plenty of open green space and a walking path to savor the great outdoors.
This was a Wild Spaces Public Spaces funded project. The project cost was $922,807.
