Possum Creek Park features a lit skate park, multi-purpose recreation fields, and a dog park. Children of all ages will enjoy the playground and the picnic pavilion. A jogging trail encircles the main field, and scenic nature trails run through the flourishing forest.

Tom Petty Park

Formerly known as Northeast Park, Tom Petty Park was renamed after the prominent rock musician in 2018. Sports enthusiasts will find plenty to do in this city park.

Ongoing improvements include the addition of eight pickleball courts, new seating areas, lot lighting, and a pedestrian entrance at NE 16th Ave. crosswalk. Also included are enhancements to ADA accessibility for the multi-purpose trail. Planned improvements include bathroom renovation and possible parking lot expansion.
