Community Partnership Grant Program

The Community Partnership Grant Program offers up to $5,000 in matching grant funds to assist local community organizations to enable special programming within the GCRA district boundaries. This grant can be combined with other city grants. Events must be free and open to the public.

The program is administered in four cycles. Cycle dates and application deadlines are as follows.

For events between  Applications are due 
 Feb. 1 to April 30  by Dec. 1 at 5 p.m.
 May 1 to July 31  by March 1 at 5 p.m.
 Aug. 1 to Oct. 31  June 1 at 5 p.m.
 Nov. 1 to Jan. 31  by Sept. 1 at 5 p.m.

Events must be located within the program boundary area (see map below). We welcome questions via GCRAprograms@gainesvillefl.gov or phone at 352-393-8200. You may also make an appointment to meet with a program manager at our office, where we can help review your application in person. Ready to apply? We have a notary on-site for your convenience.
