International Fraud Awareness Week Published on November 17, 2025 International Fraud Awareness Week, established in 2000 by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, is a global initiative held each November to raise awareness about fraud risks. During this weeklong campaign, the Office of the City Auditor encourages Gainesville’s community builders and neighbors to work together to detect and prevent fraud.
