Bivens Arm Nature Park

Bivens Arm.jpg

One of Gainesville’s oldest nature parks, Bivens Arm Nature Park features nearly 2 miles of hiking trails that borders basin marshes and winds through mesic hammock under shady live oaks, and towering pines.  The park also features an observation pavilion overlooking a marsh with built in seating.  The forests and wetlands in this park provide an important buffer between urban Gainesville and the extensive natural areas of Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park.
