T.B. McPherson Park has much to offer the surrounding community. For the sporting crowd, there are lighted basketball courts and diamond fields for baseball and softball games. The lighted tennis courts are also a popular attraction. A walking trail features fitness stations for sit-ups, push-ups and dip training. Families and groups can meet under the pavilion with picnic tables and grills nearby. Bring your kids for play dates at the playground. There are restrooms and ample parking is available. Dogs on leashes are welcome.
Andrew R. Mickle, Sr. Pool is part of the T.B. McPherson Recreation Complex.

Reverend Thomas Benjamin McPherson, the park’s namesake, was a treasured coach, educator, and church leader who cared deeply for, and contributed much, to his community. At one time, he was Head of the Athletic Department in the Alachua County school system.

Wild Spaces & Public Places facility improvements included replacing a pavilion roof and a full renovation of the tennis courts with added fencing and windscreens. Work was completed in March of 2020. The cost of the project was $173,407.
