Effective Oct. 1, 2026, the City of Gainesville is changing the way it bills for Solid Waste Services and Stormwater Management Utility.
The GCRA follows a 10-year Reinvestment Plan to support economic growth and improve quality of life. In December 2023, the City of Gainesville and Alachua County Commissions agreed to focus the GCRA’s efforts on five transformational projects, with the goal of delivering these projects by the 2029 fiscal year.
